CPR Certification
The Atlanta Area Council is a proud partner with the American Red Cross to provide CPR and basic first aid certifications to the Scouting community and general public. CPR Saturday happens twice every year at the Boy Scouts Volunteer Service Center, once in December and once in the spring. These certification days offer several certification levels and are open to anyone who is interested in participating.
Three different certifications will be offered:
Adult CPR & AED - A 4 hour course detailing basic CPR concepts.
Standard First Aid & CPR - A 6 hour course including basic first aid principles and Adult, Child and Infant CPR & AED certification.
CPR for the Professional Rescuer - An intense 8 hour course for lifeguards, emergency medical personnel, and other professional lifesavers.
Lunch will not be provided so be sure to eat before you arrive! These courses are fast-paced with few, short breaks. You may want to bring snacks and a refillable water bottle to keep you energized throughout the day!
